How To Fix An Update Is Required To Continue, Please Restart Fortnite To Download The Latest Patch 

Hello everyone today, I'm going to show you how to fix an Update is required to continue. Please restart fortnite to launch to download the latest patch. 

So this is sometimes when you're playing fortnite this error pops up and you you don't know what to do. 

There's a few things you can do to fix this issue

1. Check For Update

The first thing is close the game out right and then go into where it says check for update. Once you're here. 

You're going to see it. There might actually be an update available for the game itself. Hence why you're not able to play pretty much enter inside the game itself. 

2. Restore License

Te next thing you want to do is you want to go to settings you want to go to users and accounts you want to go to other and you want to do restore licenses.

A lot of times doing this just fixes a lot of network issues such as these like you may actually have the latest update that might You might have restarted the console. 

So if that if you haven't and is it's just still not working doing this fixes a lot of these issues. So you might want to go down this route and there hopefully this fixes it for you. 

3. Check Sync Status

The third thing is you could always do is check sync that status of the data is an online game.

But still there is like this basically happening. So you want to make sure everything is synced properly. 

Everything is there and everything's kind of happening from here this entirely possible that the sync is failing.

So the game itself is not loading what it should have been loading from the First list.

4. Change DND Settings 

The last thing you can do is you want to go to network go to settings you want to go to setup internet connection and you want to find the Wi-Fi, that you're connected to or internet, 

It doesn't matter whatever Network you're connected to you want to go to the advanced settings and you want to go to DNS settings and you want to change it from automatic into manual and you want to change the primary DNS into 1.1.1.1 and secondary into 1.0.0.1
